John Arbon Knit By Numbers DK (100% Falkland Merino, 273 yds / 250 m – 100 g or mini skein 68 yds / 62 m - 25g)
MC: 1 skein 100g of colour 74
CC1: 1 mini skein of colour 19
CC2: 1 mini skein of colour 55
Or desired DK yarn held together in following amounts:
MC: 137 yds / 125 m
CC1: 69 yds / 63 m
CC2 : 69 yds / 63 m
Changing the weight of yarn or holding yarn double will change the finished size of your gnome. Heavier weight yarn and larger needles will produce a larger gnome, while finer yarn with smaller needles will produce a smaller gnome because of gauge.
