    MC: 1 skein of Juniper Rising (green)

    CC1: 1 skein of Ashe (light grey)

    CC2: 1 skein of Red Red Wine (red)

    Or bulky weight in following amounts:

    MC: 40 yds / 37 m

    CC1: 66 yds / 60 m

    CC2: 32 yds / 30 m

    Changing the weight of yarn or holding yarn double will change the finished size of your gnome. Heavier weight yarn and larger needles will produce a larger gnome, while finer yarn with smaller needles will produce a smaller gnome because of gauge.

  • • US 8 / 5 mm needles for working small circumference knitting either DPNs or 32” / 80cm circular needles for magic loop method
