  • Circumference approx.: 20 cm / 8”

    Length approx.: 15.25 cm / 6”

  • 4ply fingering weight yarn in following amounts:

    MC: 91 m / 96 yds

    CC1: 29 m / 32 yds CC2: 25 m / 26 yds

    CC3: 33 m / 36 yds

  • These mitts are knit in the round from the cuff up.

    The stitches for the thumb are knit in waste yarn in a contrasting colour. These are then picked up once the main part of the mitt is complete. Additional stitches are picked up either side of the thumb to close gaps.

    Lock floats in sections where there are more than 7 stitches of one colour. This is done by crossing the floating yarn colour over the yarn used for knitting the next stitch.
