Join internationally acclaimed knitwear designer Aleks Byrd for a special evening as part of her 2026 Australia Tour. Over drinks and dinner, Aleks will share her Estonian knitting heritage – the master knitters who inspired her, the centuries-old techniques they’ve kept alive, and the stories woven into every stitch.

It’s part talk, part celebration, and entirely unmissable.

7:00pm onwards: Dinner, drinks, and great company

Top tip: Order your meal when you arrive so there’s no delay when the talk finishes and we’re ready to eat!

Dinner is ordered off the menu and paid for on the night (not included in ticket price). The Port Admiral has a great range of options – schnitzels, steaks, seafood, burgers, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices. Whatever your dietary needs, they’ll look after you.
