Aleks Byrd is an illustrator and knitwear designer. She has a love of creating things with color and pattern. Aleks is inspired by places and what makes a place unique. This comes from her love of traveling to new places and exploring the culture. She has a passion for knitting and illustration and continues to enjoy building the bridge between the two disciplines working on her own designs and products as well as collaborating with other knitwear designers and dyers.
